Parking Passes
Parking passes can be obtained at the Dean's Office on the 1st floor of the Animal Sciences Building. If you receive a parking violation, please visit the Dean's Office for help. No parking permits are required for visits to ARDEC.
Things to note:
- If you get lost, or need extra help, please call us at 970-491-5177
- Please allow ample time to find a place to park and walk to the Animal Sciences Building. We recommend at least 10min from the time you expect to arrive on campus.
Driving Directions from Interstate 25:
- Take exit #268 (Prospect Rd.) and proceed west (towards the mountains).
- Drive approximately 4 miles on Prospect Rd.
- Turn right (north) on College Avenue
- At the first light, Pitkin St., turn left (west).
- Drive approx. 1/10th of a mile, passing over the railroad tracks and through one stop sign.
- Continue approx. 100 yards and take your first right into the Animal Sciences parking lot.
- Park in an open spot and continue into the Animal Sciences Building to secure your visitor parking pass.
Visiting FAQ
Do I need a parking pass to park on campus?
- Yes, you will need a parking pass to park on CSU's Main Campus. The Equine Center & ARDEC do not require passes. For more information on obtaining a parking pass, visit CSU Parking Services.
What if I get a parking ticket?
- If you get a ticket, please see Laura Bonner in Room 11 of the Animal Science Building. She can be contacted at 970-491-5177
It's bad weather outside, how I can find out of the event is cancelled?
- Call the Department of Animal Sciences at 970-491-5177
How do I get to ARDEC?
