MRHC Minutes
August 29, 2007 7:00 pm AnSci 114 Next meeting 9/12/2007 Intro: Officers Steph Butler, President Nicole Isenberg, Vice President Heather Boyd, Treasurer Kim Butler, Secretary Kate Stoffel, Events Coordinator What we do: "Play with horses outside the arena." -Heather Go on trail rides around Fort Collins, some get-togethers like BBQ's, just have fun with a common interest in horses BBQ Potluck Next Wednesday, September 5, 6-8 pm, City Park If you are interested in going and haven't signed up, please email me and let me know what you'd like to bring. We hope to see lots of people there! Ride at Lory State Park, September 23 We are planning on doing a ride at Lory State Park Saturday, September 23. If plans change, we will notify you at the next meeting in email. September 8 Football game/Ag Day We're planning on going to the game Saturday, Sept 8. Plan on meeting as a club before the game. Tickets are free but you have to pick them up through the ticket office in LSC. There is a BBQ that day at the game that has awesome food that we can go to also for $15 per person. Let us know if you're interested, and we'll send out an email next week with more info. Possible Future Plans Overnight camping trip-Spring; Homecoming Parade-ride horses, walkers needed, a pack horse will be there, Sat, Oct. 6, approx. 9 am; Halloween Ride: Trick-or-Treat for canned goods; X-Mas Caroling on horseback; Spring Break 2 night packing trip-possible, would be really fun Club Room Mountain Riders has a club room located on the north side of the large indoor arena next to the Polo club's room. We have all sorts of stuff in there that is available for member's use. Club Dues Dues this year are $25/semester and $35/year. We also have MRHC sweatshirts available to buy and will have more info later. Website Please check out our website accessed through Ag Science or Equine Science under Clubs and Teams. We'll post the next meeting/event date and time, and also a copy of the minutes. Leasing If you are interested in leasing a horse this year, we will have more information at the next meeting.
