CSU Horse Judging Team WINS APHA Spring Sweepstakes Print E-mail

The CSU Horse Judging Team spent the week from April 16 - 22nd traveling to various horse farms throughout Oklahoma and Texas in preparation for the 2008 APHA Spring Sweepstakes Horse Judging Contest. The contest was held in Fort Worth, Texas on April 23rd. Twenty of CSU's finest students competed in the contest and proudly represented the Equine Sciences Program. With 26 Senior College Teams and over 150 individuals, the APHA boasted the largest contest in Spring Sweepstakes history.

The CSU Horse Judging Team was the High Team in Performance, 4th High Team in Reasons and the High Team Overall winning the contest by 11 points. A second team from CSU was also 7th High Team Overall!
