The Colorado State University Teaching Herd sold 38 lots at public auction on March 29 in Fort Collins, CO under the direction of the Seedstock Merchandising Team.  With John Korrey at the gavel, 19 Angus bulls averaged $3,078, 8 Angus heifers averaged $1,425, and 7 Hereford bulls averaged $3,071.  Buyers from six states took home the select offering with Select Sires claiming lot 3 at $7,700.  Lot 4 went to Dan Dix of Haxtun, NE at $7500.  Axtell Cattle Company of Anton, CO purchased lot 7 for $4,300.  Volume buyers were Maureen McConnell of Franktown, CO and Johnston Family Farms of Erie, CO.
